  • What does a holistic health and wellness coach do?
Holistic wellness coaching is a type of coaching focused on achieving greater levels of well-being, including physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. In this type of coaching, rather than coaching to a specific skill set or targeted goal, the focus is on the interconnectedness of these different dimensions of health and how they affect your whole being.
  • What is experiential learning?
Experiential learning is an educational approach where individuals learn through direct experience and reflection on those experiences. Instead of simply receiving information passively, learners actively engage in hands-on activities, interactive discussion, and practical exercises. This method enhances understanding and retention by allowing individuals to apply concepts in meaningful contexts, encouraging deeper insights and personal growth. Studies have shown that experiential learning can lead to better retention and application of knowledge, as it involves active participation, critical thinking, and reflection.
  • What is a learning circle?
A learning circle is a structured group learning format where individuals come together to explore a specific topic or set of topics through collaborative discussion and shared experiences. Participants engage in guided activities, discussions, and reflections, often following a curated set of resources such as books, articles, podcasts, or videos. The goal is to create a supportive environment that fosters mutual learning, deeper understanding, and personal growth. Learning circles emphasize active participation, peer support, and the collective exploration of ideas, making the learning process more interactive and engaging.
  • How do I learn more before committing?
You can schedule a 15-minute discovery call to ask questions and learn more about our programs. This is a good way to clarify your understanding and make sure the program is a good fit for where you are in your journey.
  • How do I choose a wellness coach/guide?
Start by scheduling an exploratory call to see if you feel comfortable and understood by the coach. A good personal connection and communication style are crucial for a successful relationship. Also, ensure the coach’s approach and philosophy align with your values and preferences. Some coaches may emphasize holistic methods, while others might focus on specific techniques or strategies. Another consideration is the cost of programs they offer and if they fit within your budget and provide the support you need.
